Wedding Cakes
Planning a wedding is an exciting yet sometimes overwhelming experience, and choosing the right cake can be an important part of making your day feel truly special. Having worked in the wedding industry and cake design for the past 15 years I have a world of knowledge to help guide you through every step of the process. From the initial tasting to the final consultation, I make sure you feel supported and confident in your choice.
I have developed my niche for creating true personal works of art for all my couples, cakes that not only look awesome, but taste amazing too.
Specialising in back reveal cakes, these ‘best of both worlds’ cakes have a relatively traditional front with full on personality in the back. Whether it be a hand painted scene from where you grew up to an out of this world geek fest..trust me I have done it! To see some examples of reveal back cakes, take a browse through my gallery. I am a stickler for detail and if a cake is designed to have a large floppy bow on the front and a mashup of Super Mario, Walking Dead, Stranger Things and The Hobbit on the back, then it will have those things and look as close to the real thing as possible.

No wedding cake design is confirmed without a full design consultation, so roughly 3-6 months before your big day you will be invited to my studio in Whitwood, Castleford for your design consultation where we can chat about your vision for your wedding cake. I love to explore your ideas, whether you have a clear picture in mind or just a few broad thoughts. I’ll work with you to design a cake that fits seamlessly into the theme and atmosphere of your big day. We can incorporate colors, fun themes, and even your personal stories into the design. The possibilities are endless!
You will then get a hand drawn sketch of the design we come up with, emailed to you a few days later, for you to keep in your memories box.
Cake Toppers
Bespoke cake toppers are the perfect way to add a personalised "wow" factor to any celebration. Handcrafted with care, each figure is uniquely designed to capture the essence of your event, whether it's a wedding, birthday, or special occasion. I take great pride in hand making each figurine, ensuring every detail is tailored to reflect your personality, theme, and vision. These custom toppers not only enhance the beauty of your cake centerpiece but also create lasting memories, making your event feel even more special and unique. They are a true personal keepsake to treasure forever.
Ordering a bespoke cake topper is easier than you think. Firstly, fill in my contact form to see if I have diary space for you, I will reply to you within 48 hours. If I do, then just a £50 booking fee is required to confirm. I will then contact you 8 weeks before your collection date with an information collection form. A price is then confirmed, (toppers start at £200 for a couple and £100 for a single figurine) with the balance due 4 weeks before your agreed collection date. You pick up your figurine from my studio on your agreed collection date..usually 3-7 days before your event date.
If you would like me to deliver your figurine then I can do so for an agreed price, unfortunately, due to the nature of these works of art, I can not send them by post.
Celebration Cakes
I specialize in designing and creating custom celebration cakes for all kinds of events, not just weddings. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, baby shower, or any milestone; I work closely with you to bring your vision to life. From fun and whimsical designs to elegant and sophisticated themes, each cake is carefully crafted to match the style and mood of your celebration.
I ask for a 4 week lead time, but since my diary does fill fast during wedding season, I do recommend securing your spot as soon as you can. Dates can be secured as far in advance of a year with only a £30 non-refundable booking fee. To check your date, please fill in my contact form and I will endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours.
